Child custody or visitation rights

The father of my child or so said to be the father wants visitation away from me. I don't trust him because of his life style.

Get a DNA test to see if he is the father and then see if you can get supervised visits through the courts..

It sounds like you aren't sure if he really is the father. If that's the case, the first thing I'd want to do is have a paternity test done. Then, if he doesn't turn out to be the father, you don't have anything to worry about.

unless you can prove that he would be a danger to the child then you dont have much say. it all depends on what the courts say. ..although in some states, if you werent married then the father doesnt have parental rights!

i have total sympathy for you. The father of my son shook him upside down causing perm brain dmg and still had joint custody even tho he admitted it. gl
