I normally spend too much money on clothes. What's your obsession when you have money to burn?

Oh without a doubt shoes and boots is my downfall. I'm up to about 80 pairs now and always looking for more. I'm afraid I'm running out of original shoes to buy now as I've brought the newest fashions out so am gonna have to wait a few months before newer stuff comes out! I suppose there is always Ebay to look on.. Better get typing so I can spend my earnings on some more lol!

Boots and shoes! That's one I forgot to mention. I haven't been able to spend money lately, but when I did, that was always another choice. I would buy a lot of boots. Slippers too. Comfort is a big thing for my feet. So often times, I will see something I like, and forget about the comfort just because they look great. Thus never wearing them! lol I need to think with my head more often when shopping for shoes. I miss it a lot. Oh and all these responses are great. I love to see what people are into. This was an excellent way of getting to know what people really enjoy in life. Buying stuff that makes one passionate, is always a great way to get to know people. There were some responses that people would buy books. WOW! That blew me away because I never have time to read. I guess I have never been much of a reader anyways. So when I read books, it was shocking to me. In a positive way. Because spending money on something educational, is profiteering. (Spelt wrong, sorry). Me, I got out and buy stuff for fashion, and or decorating. Not sure if that's so profiteering lol Thanks for all your responses! Keep em coming, because for me this is a great way to get to know people. :-)

When I have extra cash, I try to buy at least one special thing for each of the three kids and for me and my fiance. The kids like to have something new every now and then, and whenever I get to buy them something, their happiness makes me feel so good! Other times, I buy the next most important need in the house, or in the kitchen. I also may opt to save the money for a rainy day. Unexpected things can happen, like emergencies or accidents (I always pray that accidents never have to happen, though) and I would like to have some money to pull out when times like these come. We rarely have extra cash, and so when we do, I make it a point to use the money wisely.

I have already got too much clothes and I can't fit any more into my wardrobes. Now, when I have a surplus of cash, I like to pamper myself by going away for weekend and staying in an executive suite in an expensive hotel. I do this at leat once every month and I usually book a hotel close to my son or daugher so that I can call and visit them without imposing on them.

I would spend it to eat outside. I like to go on a shopping spree and eat outside. It feels good to enjoy the food when your pocket is not empty;)

I'll splurge it all in a spa. I have been visiting spas for regular weekly massages. It relaxes me after a week long of hard stressful work. It has also improve my overall physical health. Before I used to have back aches, but when I started getting those massages, the ache disappeared.

When I get some extra money I spend on things I like to buy or things I like to do. Sometime I buy cloths, jewelery, bags or shoes for me. And sometime we (me and my hubby) go to a speciall dinner at a good restuarant.

I normally spend it on stuff for my daughter. Normally either clothes or shoes depending on what she needs. She's always outgrowing something.
