Actually the funniest one I heard was a response to a pick-up line.
Man: How would you like your eggs in the morning?
Woman: Unfertilized. Now f**k off.
Made me laugh!

Then call them ice breakers. Pick up lines are really just for breaking the ice and making the other person chuckle, at least thats how I use them. I never use them with the intention of actually "picking up" though usually I'd like to at least get a number LOL.

I am the king of cheezy lines LOL....
When I was in college I actually used this when I accidentally spilled some of my drink on a girl:
her: You got me all wet
me: I haven't even started yet babe
LOL it worked I swear, I thought I was gonna get slapped but instead she started dancing with me and... well things went on from there LOL...
When I met my now ex wife at a party (I didn't know her) I walked up sat down beside her and said "nice shoes"
I was at a patio bar and overheard a conversation from another table about naming cars:
Her: I named my car Jeff
Me: Do you like riding Jeff everyday?
Her (confused look on her face): Yes
Me: Let me introduce myself, my name is Jeff
She laughed and made me prove it, which I did.
