It somehow feel great going back to the memories we once had when we were still a little kid, and even when we were already growing up. And one of the best things that could remind us of those great moments are the photos..and funny coz some of them are even in black and white.. lol I have like 2 big albums full of my photos. My mom kept all of my photos since I was a few weeks old, when I started crawling, when I started walking, when I went to pre-school, and so on. It's really fun looking at those pictures. Especially noticing how my appearance has changed by time. My mom is very proud of me and my younger brother that she always lets her friends who visit at home see our albums. She put our albums on the table at our living room. That way anybody who wanted to see our pictures can just grab them easily. But she made sure though that our albums are very much handled with care. how about you, do you still have photo albums? do you put your albums in your living room or you keep them in your bedroom? or you are now the man in the 21st century, saving your photos on a CD or other electronic saving devices?

I have got albums and have got dozens of them. It's like going back to decades back and see and feel what I was upto that time. Watching photographs from album gives immense pleasure and I prefer storing hard copy of photographs. I have got digital camera too but I hate it and my wife is like more into use of it. I love my old canon camera still and love to buy roll for it. I'm not like old people who doesn't want to get into new techno but there are things which we can't forget and want to stick to them only.

Exactly, there are just some things that we have been so used to that we sometimes rather stick with them than getting hold of the new ones. And my mom is like you, she'd rather get a roll for our old camera than the digital.

Occasionally on occasions, friends would take picture and send me the hard copy. I will just "file" them away in photo books (is that what you call them?) and store them in my drawers. When time to time, when I get bored, I will take them out and feel nostalgic. :P

even in the fast pace of technology these days,i still love the classic way of preserving photos. yep. i do have lots of photos online and had posted some of them on my friendster pages. but basically, most photos that i have taken, i still have them printed. it's kinda expensive for sure. but i don't care. i have lots of photo albums up to now. and it's placed in our living room. it's better to just flip the pages of the photo albums when trying to recall and look back at those moments in our lives.

I do not have photos when I was small. The photos I had were those taken at gatherings after I left school. They are in albums chucked in a corner of my cupboard. If you had not mentioned, I would have forgotten they exist :P Many many years ago, I will still take them out occasionally, just flip and recollect the past. Nowadays, I don't take much photos. Even photos which I have taken are in electronic form. It is stored in my computer.

I dont just have photo albums I have memories. I do scrapbooking and I get to tell the story right in my album by putting it in print along with the pictures. I decorate my album page with stickers and fancy decorations then I add the picture and then I wrigh about the picture and what was going on so that I dont have to be right there when someone is looking at it and tell them what is going on they can read about it on there own. They can see what I was feeling in the words and the decoration. Plus it is loads of fun and relaxing.

Yes, I still use them, I have about 15 photo albums with many things such as post cards, cards, pictures and various other things. They aren't scrapbooks, but I have so many. I have some on a bookcase, others I have in my room because they aren't filled. Well, I also have some photos on Yahoo Photos which would be like a twenty-first century way of a photo album, right? Well I think I will be uploading some more files to yahoo photos :). Have a nice day. Pablo

I also love looking at photo albums. I have a ton of them. I keep them in a cedar chest that I have in my kitchen. When I take pictures with my digital camera, I make sure to print them out and put them immediatley in a photo album. I have tried to organize the albums also. One for each child, one for vacations, one for family stuff. It will be a great thing to hand down from generation to generation.

Oh yes! Although I've placed my pictures in different albums (the previous ones they've been in are well, tattered), I still find time to browse them. It always feels like having a trip down memory lane. I especially love my pictures taken during my high school days. Now that my previous class mates and I live different lives, it's nice to reminisce 'bout the good 'ol times through those pictures. I've scanned some of them and posted them on our yahoo!group. We never fail to make fun of ourselves. HAHA! During college, most of my pictures are in digital format, so I just keep them on a CD or post them on my multiply site. I'm planning on making a scrapbook actually. My friends and I love pictures, so I'm looking forward to having more! I only wish I could keep all of them!

i dont use one of those. It been a while in fact a long time since i used a photo album to store my photographs.lol. Nice discussion btw. I burn them on a CD.In fact when i give the film rolls for printing i ask the service guy to put them on the CD.It actually works out much cheaper. I recommend people to migrate to this system too cuz like you said we're in the 21 century. But nothing matches the clarity one gets by actually printing the photographs. In that way the photo albums win over the digital photo albums.and thats the reason i print the snaps for big occasion like weddings and so on cuz the importance of the occasion is such.

I treasure my photo albums and would say they are the most valuable item I own as they are priceless, if I lost them in a fire then they are irreplaceable. I have put most of them onto disc now for safe keeping just in case and have given my best friend a copy for extra safety (am I paranoid?) I just think I would be heartbroken as I have photo's of a few people who have passed away not counting the ones of my daughter when she was young! I've now purchased a couple of those lcd digital photo frames that stores quite a few photos and you can alternate them so it shows a different photo every few minutes!

I love pictures. When I was in high school and college I used to bring my camera everywhere, for major events to unsignificant ones. It was a way for me to immortalize the current atmosphere, event...They are memories which you can go over and over and will never forget it. My classmates even teased me to be too overeacting. But as the each school year end, a lot of them wanted to reprint some of my photos. And especially, during my last year in college, I gave away some of my classmates photos and they really loved it. They didn't even remember that I took a photo with them in that event. So photos are always well appreciated. I am now collecting photos of my daughter. And I love photo album, I think because it is more personalize. You can even put captions with your photos. My mom doesn't like to have photo albums in the living room. Because children may not take good care of it or played with it. But she loves to pull them out from time to time for our guest, especially to show our naked baby pictures.(^^,LOL^^,) We also saved some our recent photos here in our computer, but they got deleted lately because of some install program and unfortunately I wasn't able to print them out yet. Hay! So I'll think I'll stick to the good old photo album system.(^^,) Have a nice day! And by the way thank you for adding me to your friends! (^^,)
