I have gained a lot of spiritual insights from this site: www.near-death.com. Has any other member visited the site before, or has anybody known of any near-death experiences before? I have found the topic very interesting and insightful.

My little brother had one of these during a near-drowning incident. He was about two, and he talked about many of the usual things you hear with NDEs....bright colors, a tunnel, and so on. He reported seeing a man in white, whom he believed to be our dad, pull him out of the water and out of the tunnel. Dad was alive and well and nowhere around us at the time, though, so it couldn't have been him.

Thanks for the quick response. Honestly, I wouldn't say that your little brother of 2 was making up the story. He couldn't have heard of NDEs before at that age. There could have been a mistaken identity about the man in white that he saw, but there is no doubt that somebody mysteriously rescued him. I am happy for you he came back to life. There are mysteries and wonders. God is truly great.

I'm not comfortable saying that there can't be doubt doubt, as it may have been a purely biological thing relating to his brain starting to shut down. It was actually my grandfather who pulled him out of the pool, but I still have a hunch that my brother did experience something outside the ordinary that day.

I'm sorry for mixing things up or for not making my point clear. It was the man in white that your brother claimed to have seen that I actually meant to be a mystery. He probably was the one who alerted your grandfather, by some telepathic or some other means, to the grave danger your brother was in. Or the mystery man could have been ordinarily an entity created by your brother's brain in a terrifying situation. Honestly, I am not an expert in the NDE thing. All my comments are made from the standpoint of an uninitiated but curious individual. Thank you for the extra information.
