""burp""

You won't believe this but, my husband has taught my beautiful daughter how to burp on command. AT THE DINNER TABLE, no less. What is he thinking?? Wait, I know... he thinks it will keep the boys away when she is older. AARGGHHH!! There go my plans to groom her to be the president. Those kind of table manners will never serve for a world leader. RAts! Foiled again.

Bad news for your husband, most teenage boys will be completely impressed by your daughter's new ability. Heck, I know grown men who would still be impressed by a woman who could do that, only because most girls never really understand why boys think this is cool (I sure don't). I'm sure she will grow out of it before she joins Congress, though, so don't worry. :-)

Well, I tell you she has developed a world class burp, and can do it several times in a row. I sure hope she aoutgrows it before elections, I can just imagine a microphone picking one of these things up and braodcasting it!

Sigh, couldn't she at least cover her hand. Or not grin so adorably immediately after?

Sigh, I'm still operating under the keep boy away theory. You know he has several nice plots picked out behind the garden. Oh, and he carries a broadsword around , too.

Don't worry too much, you aren't in this boat alone. My husband has passed on all those wonderful traits to my girls as well. I think they do it just for thier own amusement.

Well, it's not the best habit to teach but it could be worse. Just be glad he isn't teach her to moon people or flip people off. If my husband taught my daughter to do that, I would probably be very upset with him. You seem to be taking well and not too seriously. I don't think I could do that. I'd kill my hisband!

Please don't tell him anything worse. He has always had more influence with her than I have. I realized when she was 3 wks old that they din;t need me except for lunch! But I figure that when he goes to pick out her prom dress she is gonna wish that she was nicer to me!!!
