Hi Chrspeds, Absolutely!!! I would want the other seat occupied by my huband. We have flown in small planes together before, and both love it! We've discussed taking flying lessons, but haven't gotten around to it yet. Although, it's not off the list. It'll just be something we save 'till later in life. Maybe a good retirement goal, eh? Where would we want to go? Doesn't really matter. It's the flight that's important. Of course, if I had to choose a destination, I guess it would be the Grand Canyon. I've been several times, but still haven't viewed it aerially from a plane or helicopter.

The first time I was given a chance to fly a 2 seater (well actually a 4 seater) was when I was 16. My palms were sweaty and I was afraid of screwing up so I stayed in the traffic pattern and did a few touch-and-goes before I landed. I didn't take anyone with me that time, because I wasn't licensed yet! If flying is a dream of your's you should look into taking lessons. I learned a lot about myself learning to fly and wokring through some sticky situations. Most county and small city airports offer flight lessons.
