We pretty much have a zoo at my house, though a small one. We have a dog named Jake, he is the animal we have had the longest, a cat named Wilbur, nine hermit crabs, I can't even begin to think of all their names, Ha! Ha!, and a gerbil named Little Bit. We thoroughly enjoy all our pets, they are a lot of entertainment. Jake barks and goes bonkers to let us know whenever someone comes into or around our yard that he doesn't know. He loves for you to talk to him. He wags his tail and his ears droop in a happy way. He also looks like he is grinning at you! Wilbur loves to come into our house and sleep. He is mostly an outside cat but he comes into to eat and occasionally take a nap. He loves to get on the foot of our bed to sleep. One night he used my husband's foot as a pillow. It was hillarious. He is solid white except for blue eyes and a pink nose. The hermit crabs belong to my son and daughter. Some of the names are Eugene, Pearl, Laney, Jasmine, Jasper and Bill. Whenever he gets another one we never know what kind of name my son will come up with. The gerbil, Little Bit, belongs to my daughter. She is a pretty little thing. I wasn't sure I would be happy with a gerbil in the house at first because they do look a lot like mice, but I have grown attached to her almost as much as my daughter. When I'm working here at home during the day on my transcription reports I have her cage nearby and she keeps me company. That's all the animals we have now, I don't think we need anymore, Ha! Ha! Have a wonderful day!

Don't we though, Ha! Ha! It drives my mother-in-law nuts that we let our cat in the house. She can't stand for a cat to be in a house but we just have to let her not like it. After all he isn't in all the time.

lol my family has also always had a zoo in our house. The most pets we had at one time was 4 dogs, 7 cats, 1 fish and 2 birds. We recently lost 2 dogs so now we have 2 dogs, 7 cats, 1 fish and 1 bird. But we always take in stray pets, so we might have some more for a while. I think total we have "adopted" 4 or 5 litter of new born kittens, nursed them until they got big enough to give away. We have kept at least 1 from each litter (i believe). Now I would love to talk my mom into getting another dog. She wants the same kinds I do so that could help me lol. We want either an Antolian Shepard, Great Pyanese, Saint Bernard or Bernese Mountain Dog.

You DO have a little zoo. I just have two puppies, Leon and Sherlock. I just bought pet stairs that I saw on TV for way too much, but got them at Walgreens for half the price. They think they are kings now that they can get up and down on the couch. And they pretty much are my little princes. It's good that you are a mom so tolerant of animals. I know a lot of moms would be fine with one dog, but that would be it!
