I think that democratic school sounds like a magic idea but I don't think it would work with a large number of people.Despite of the fact that it is a very positive way of learning, however it may not be the suitable choice for everyone. So,some of the people may need to be punished because they are not determined enough to learn by themselves.A good thing about having the set of rules is,it means that we have learnt to respond well to hierarchy, whereas people who go to democratic school may not respond well to being told what to do,so when they go to the workplace they may rebel to what they are being told to do.What do you think about democratic schools?Does a comletely democratic school have in the world? What good and bad things do democratic schools have?

children learning at the own pace is not always the right thing, the reason for teachers is to guide them, but the freedom to go beyond the regular school curriculum and learn what truly is inspiring to the child is compelling. I agree how do children react to situation outside the school where they must observe rules and regulations, like work, or church, or team sports etc.
