Is it necessary for users of this site to verify their Paypal account before they can recieve their payments? I was just curious as I am still a newbie in this area

you can receive payments from mylot either to paypal or egold account.but i prefer paypal because a lot of big companies are using paypal to accept their funds.besides if you are not from US country you cannot witdraw the money into your local banks.so when i receive my payment from paypal i am just planning to use the money to buy things in ebay.at least i do get something rather than keeping my fund stuck in my paypal account.you must need to verify your email in paypal.paypal uses email to send and accept money.it is better you get your paypal verified.it is so easy.i did successfully verified my paypal.you just need to add debit card if you do not have credit card.just apply for one debit card from your local banks and enter 3 digit number at the back of the card in paypal in order to get it verified.they will deduct USD1.95 from your balance in debit card as verification purpose in expanded use program.that means in that you will remove limit of sending USD100 only.but after you pay things that you buy over the internet using paypal they will credit USD1.95 back to your account.

First off, if you're a user from the United States or some of the other approved countries that paypal has approved of, using paypal is probably going to be a breeze. I have not had the privilege of using paypal as a US resident (quite obviously) so, I cannot give you a review on using paypal as one! But as an International merchant using paypal, this is what I have to say - YOU MAY NEVER GET TO SEE YOUR MONEY AT ALL!If you have not been using paypal for a long time, like me, then you're not always aware of the small tiny little word 'unverified - Malaysia' that sits comfortably right next to your paypal balance. The sending limit is there if you're not a verified paypal user. For starters, paypal has capped off the sending limit at USD100. USD100 limit on the amount you can ever send through your paypal account until you get yourself verified.

That was a very informative response. I think I will get a debit card from my bank soon and remove my sending limit. I was also planning to use the paypal cash for online shopping.

Just use e-gold, it's much simpler. PayPal isn't available in most countries outside the US which is a real bummer for us internationals. I think you need a credit card to get it verified, so if you don't have one, e-gold's the best bet. Hope I could be of help.

You need to have your paypal account verified through paypal so you can get payments from them Here you just give them the email that you use for paypal and they pay you that way. So just be verifed through paypal and you are fine

Do you mean your physical address or your email address verified because they are two seperate issues. You would definately ned the email verified, but I wouldn't think you would need you adress verified.
