Been thinking lately, does money generate power and respect always? In my locality, you have no money, you are completely insignificant and a non entity.Let me know what you think about this.

a rich man who is good to his fellowmen will easily be loved by the people. we know however, that most rich men are detached and covered by bodyguards, for fear that harm can come to him anytime from his enemies in the business sector or from personal grudges he has earned, in the process of collecting his millions.

yes, of course. moreso if you will consider as fear of the person as a sign of respect. definitely, money begets power. if one has so much money, he can hire so many bodyguards in such a way that he can become a power to recon with. he can have the best things in life and he can make the lives of his enemies miserable because, he can afford to hire the services of the best professionals around. but for a man to have less in life and be loved and respected by his fellowmen measures so much more.
