Conceiving through donor insemination ( artificial insemination)

I did not see any discussions on this topic so I thought I would start one...I am a mom of 3 boys conceived through donor insemination so all I can say is thank goodness we had that option or we would not have the kids we have today...My husband is infertile due to a blocked something or other ( sorry it has been awhile and details have left)
we had been together since I was 15 and he 19 and then 7 years later decided was wanted kids so we had better get married..well one year later and no pregnancy...and the infertility roller coaster began...
I hope others can share their stories and we can learn and inspire each other.

Well, we've done AI as well, and just like you I am thankful for having this option. After many years of trying naturaly we weren't successful,so we started the whole infertility roller coaster. We tried ICI (unsuccessfully) and IUI along with a few cycles of clomid and finally got pregnant 7 years after getting married.
What method of AI did you have done?

so did you use your hubbys sperm or have to choose a sperm donor? I'm kinda freaked out.. how do you choose the donor?

My hubby and I are hoping to do this at some point soon. We are also considering adoption but we think we want to try this route first.
