Ok so from what I have gathered using a drop shipper is a bad idea. http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/949817.aspx So what about the power sellers? Where do they get their inventory? I really want to sell on ebay I just don't know where to get a good steady supply of products. I want to be able to have a business. I am more than willing to put the time in. I just don't have the money. I am open to any ideas. Thanks. DD

I think that is the biggest problem with ebay. It actually takes money over there to make money. Most power sellers either use wholesalers, or have an item they make themselves in bulk and sell. Wholesalers are easy to get if you have a reseller's license and a few bucks, ut they will not allow you acesss without the reseller's licene. The best way to start is to have an online "yard sale" of sorts on ebay selling things from around the house. Use that money to go to the local courthouse an get your resellers license, then hook up with a good wholesaler. Monitor ebay for whatitems are hot and offer a good selection of those items. It should pay off eventually.

I also want to do more selling on eBay, and have been seeking the secrets of power sellers for months. I know some of them do use drop shippers, but I don't know which ones. They do not give up their secrets easily! Alot of power sellers go to yard sales and auctions for stuff. I wish I lived where they do... there is nothing good in my area. If you find the answers...will you share with me? hehe

Not a problem. I know there is a lot of money to be made from ebay, I just need to figure it out. There are no good yard sales in my area either.
