what if one day... the people of MyLot will ran out of words to say?

Speechless... - Well the picture is showing a guy that seems to be confused with a letter that came from MyLot. LOL! The letter symbolizes the discussions here that sometimes, we're speechless of what are we going to say about that certain topic! I feel it most of the time. It's really hard to pour all the best words you wanted for your response. But I think it's a great challenge for us as well because this will boost our creativity and intellectual powers when it comes to creating acceptable sentences or paragraphs.

I know it's unbelievable and most people will disagree. But as I said, "What if?" In my experience here in MyLot in just a couple of days, sometimes I just can't make up my mind! It feels like I'm running out of words to say whenever I respond to different discussions that I find interesting. Because of that, I always end up shifting to another topic and leave the topic that I'm suppose to respond to. I just thought that what if there'll be a time, the discussions and responses will all just become a bunch of cliche's or always repeating? Will you still have the passion of writing a good response even though the topic is nonsense? - Ron Reyes www.ronreyes.co.nr

Lots of events come up every day, so I think there would always be something new to talk about. We have experiences that differ from the ones we had yesterday, or we could share what our friends have shared. We'll never run out of things to say!

I disagree to what you said "we could share what our friends have shared". According to what I've read in the FAQ section of MyLot, it's against their rules. You must not copy or duplicate the idea of others. Oh well, just an information.

A very relevant discussion but i would like to add that firstly it will not happen cos english is a very funny language and it gets updated every day as one sees disctionaries floating out of printing presses every day and with a base of 85000 members i do not think mylot will dry up but considering your discussion and appreciating you views i would suggest that even if it does happen i will very sad not that i have lost an earning oppturnity but i will miss all the friends i have met here so i pray you suggestion never happens in practicality

Maybe you're right! But it's also inevitable sometimes that we experience mental block and we can't really say what we wanted to say. Oh well, it's human nature and it's completely unavoidable. But like you, I also hope my assumption will not happen. Besides, I'm still waiting for that YouTube feature of MyLot. Hehe!

I dont think i would respond to the discussion which is repitive and non sense because you will be no longer motivated here. So, i know it is unbelievable. We need to read books also so that you can post some new and relevant topics here or you may share your experiences here.

Yeah! I agree with that. Nonsense topics really are boring and can make us lose our passion in responding. Thanks for sharing your insights. Have a nice day

Yeah! I think you're right! I can also say that you're a talkative person. Well I do hope you respond a lot, so MyLot will stay exciting. I guess it's all of us who makes this site great in the first place.

we all get this feeling sometimes but it's impossible to happen to all mylot members at the same time :) And there's always new members joining everyday, still fresh and eager to respond to every discussions and start their own new threads, mylot is just like life, people come and go, some get active and others get discouraged and life will always go on :)

Well, Im not really certain as to what Im gonna do when that thing happens.. In fact I might have been experiencing that already - there are times in which I really dont know what to do here. I sit in our living room, I log in and I just sit because nothing comes out of my mind... LOL Maybe we'll just recall all our previous discussions and respond to the discussions of the new comers.. However, I know that will never happen because the human mind's capacity of information is equivalent to 20 million books - guess that would be enough to get us through more than a decade here... LOL

Never!! Maybe the men will run out of words but can you imagine the girls stumped for something to say - no way! haha It is a bit like writing songs - there are only so many notes to choose from yet composers still manage to come up with something new!

I Think That It's Not Impossible That all People On Mylot Give Out Of Writing.... I Got Bored Really... Not Interesting Discussions.... Ya Must Have More friends To See Much Responses.... I Dunno What Happen To Mylot... every thing was going good and suddenly every one stop talking and no important discussions... I Think MyLot Must Make A New Upgrades To Make Mylot Going Active again as it was Before....

Great, if people run out of word then a word worth more than gold for mylot. then mylot will pay like $100 for a word that anybody can write here, I hope I will be the first person who can post here and I will write like a post that contain 100 words or so.. 100 plus is enough for me.. ;)

Then mylot will have to shut down! (LOL) Nah, i'm just kidding. Well, in the first place.. there's so much to talk about! I mean, there are thousands of topics here.. thousands of interests, and discussions. I mean yeah, I'm sure there are topics here who have been repeated, but for sure you won't reply to the same topic twice, right? Even writers do not run out of words or anything to say. It's a freedom of expression and so people are free to say 'whatever'. Everyday has something new ;)

well if that will happen then maybe those who are responding to those discussion can do the difference in their responses. we can always give good comments to those nonsense talks, will agree with me? it's how we perceive things, and i know in our own little ways we can make it interesting and meaty discussions.

i know how you feel, ronreyes. there are times i can't find a discussion that interests me. it's so easy to respond to each and every discussion that we see, but we always want something meaningful to say. i've seen a lot of discussions that are being repeated. i think it also is telling us something. it's amazing to know that even if we are from different countries, or have different beliefs, we are all human and we somehow all think the same.

I alredy ran out of words. I hardly find discussions which are interesting and new idea. Before I posted even 30 comments per day, but now I can send only 1-2 posts per day.

I probably wouldn't respond to repeats. I don't even like repeats on television (unless it was particularly good).

Never gonna happen. As long as the world turns there will be issues to discuss. Lucky for us I guess! LOL

You have a valid supposition here. Indeed, you could as well made an observation that new ideas have already dried up. We are already inundated with repeated questions and answers. Very recently, I had to refer a questioner to an ealier posting within the same week when the same question was asked by another member. 'Nothing is new under the sun': that is what this forum has already become. It cannot be otherwise; life itself is repetitive. You wake up, eat, work, play, sleep again, and the cycle continues. As very few new things happen often, we have to make do with recycling the day-to-day events.

I am not certain if that were to be possible. To just stop responding, for anyone. I can understand if you go to respond to a topic and think you have something to say.. freeze and go respond to a topic that makes no sense. That's always easy to have happen. But, to run out of words to use or say... might be a cliche itself.

if their would be a day that people would ran out words to say that would be because they ran out of fresh ideas to the topic that's been created.topics in nonsense discusions is not worth replying to or posting responses. why, because you would just waist your time in creating a good message..
