I must admit this is embarrasing! YaYz! But I'm also new to AC writing and I was just about to write an article and then it was asking for headline, sub head, and abstract. I got problem with the last one. What does it mean abstract? Examples here pretty pleasee!! (^-^)

The abstract is a short summary of what your article is about. It's can also be a teaser, promising some information that will lead the reader into your article. Usually it's just a sentence or two. On Associated Content, you can find examples of them on the front page and on the page that displays when you press one of the category links in the left hand panel. The abstracts are usually those lines that describe the article that appear right under the article's title. In quite a few cases, these are just the first sentences of the article, but you'll find that in other cases the author took the time to use it properly.

AC is great, I will place my daughter's link below and you can check out her articles, she loves it ! I think what is important is to write about things you know. You will see examples of abstracts in her articles. Best Wishes ! http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/56310/karen_meeker.html
