Do you send letters to the letter page of magazines. I have done a couple of times and they printed them. I was delighted. I have not sent a letter lately, but if I come across a topic that interests me I think I will try again. If you send a letter do you use your name or pseudonym.

I've sent it before once, and feel very happy. Well actually it because of task from my language teacher -lol- But I got very good response from the media. Most of my friends sent it to local newspaper, but I'm the only student try to sent it to national magazines. And I almost thought that they wouldn't reply me, because seemed hard and the competition quite hard between others sender. But the next two months I was surprised that my letter was in that magazine (teenage female magazine), and I give it to my teacher, and finally I got 9 (from 10) points for the remark -lol-

I did once, but it never got printed, so I was kind of taken back, and that ended my career of writing to magazines:D

Rejection is quite sad. Sort of a blow to our confidence.

I love Cosmopolitan (Philippine version). I submitted a lot of experiences there and I am so happy to see some of them published. Usually it has my nicname on it. Just seeing my letter to published makes me want to shout for joy. I even won prices like blouses and perfumes. It was fun. ;)

It is nice to see your article in print. To win prizes is fantastic. I have never won a prize from a magazine.
