Old gadgets galore! do you still have your BETAMAX PLAYER?

We have some of those, even one of our tv may already be considered as antique!;) We have betamax, vhs players, an electric fan and a refrigerator. All of them are still in perfect condition and functioning good, we often use them to test if it's still working. It's always fun to have something which is 'old' but still dependable, as this just shows how careful we are in using appliances!;) BTW I also consider my PC old, as I haven't upgraded and changed some of it's parts eversince..

Oh My Gawwwwd. I still have a working 1970's Sony BETA VHS player. The thing weighs about 15 pounds too. The tapes were smaller than standard VHS tapes too. It loaded on top etc. Now I've also got an old stereo that has a turntable & 8 track player that works. I've got an old pedal operated Singer Sewing Machine also. I have a lot of old itmes from my mom & from auctions I go to. Thanks for the memories. Now I've the urge to clean/fix said items. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

We do have a 40 year old fan. It's very functional and works really well. It's a little heavy and noisy but apart from that everything's fine. It's my grandfather's, it's still at home, we have no plans of selling it. It's kinda cute so I think we'll keep it.
