when i was still little, i dream of being a princess... with beautiful gowns to wear and pretty pairs of shoes to put on. i live in a very huge castle and i have my own big wonderful room. that's my impossible dream when i was still a kid. but later on, i realize that i am lucky to have a simple life like the one i am into now. i don't want a very complex life. having a simple home with my parents and my siblings, just living happily together is more than enough for me. how about you? do you have impossible dreams, too?

I dreamt once that I was a millionaire, who could help my family, friends and the poor. To keep everything in balance, to share to my wealth to everyone so peace can be achieved. But I guess that dream was really just for kids, as I now realized that there are more reasons why people are poor and cannot achieve peace. That money is not the solution, and that there are more reasons than what I've thought of.

yep. money isn't always the solution for everything. just imagine if all poor people come to you and ask for help all the time because you are the richest man alive... all these people will be lazy and worthless. all they do is ask and do nothing. so, there's a reason why not all people are rich, right?

If that would be the solution, then why not?;) But no, my reason is because it's not about the money. It's what goes on people's minds, they are not contented and WILL not be contented on what they have. Money would help to make people change their minds, the mentality, the cruelty and hunger for power, and for everything is endless.

that's true. people aren't contented in everything they have... they always want something more. i guess i belong to that group, too. i mean, i am not that greedy really but sometimes, i feel like i want something more.

No, I didn't have to. Though quite simple, my happy childhood suited me fine. I was born in a small coconut farm and we lived well. We stayed there until I was four. I love that place as it was. Life felt like heaven there. When we transferred to the next town, we lived at the center, the downtown area. Life became so different. Suddenly, there were so many neighbors. I know, us kids, prefer the life in the farm. My parents brought us there because we are already of school ages, the first three kids in the family.

you're lucky. i love the farm, too. the fresh air, the fresh fruits and vegetables. the animals.... cows, horses, goats, dogs, cats... everything is so simple and in harmony with nature.

nothing is impossible and a dream becomes impossible once it stays as a dream and you have never done anything to make as a reality.every dream is a prayer, it is a personal wish. in phsycology, it is an auto suggestion to our brain that we want it . so id we tell our brain that we want it, it is like starting a car and we just have to kick in the pedal to make move, to make it happen.

that's true. however there are dreams which really is impossible like the one i dreamed of when i was still a kid. maybe it's just a pure work of my imagination after seeing movies about fairytales. but you do have a point. thanks!

I really think we are separated at birth mary anne lol!! I really dream that I am one of the princess in the fairy tale story and a knight in shining armor will come along my way to capture my heart and will protect me from all dangers. Later when I grew up I became more of a brave woman and think that I don't need a knight in shining armor anymore and even think that I can do better than that knight lol!! Until someone came along and prove to me that being a princess doesnt requires to be more femine in nature or be living with royal bloods lol!! I think I am not a princess now I felt more like a queen minus the castle and the royal guards but that impossible dream of mine is really close to reality!! I think your fate will really close to mine because you have now your prince and someday you will have your own castle!! Cheers to a happy married ahead my friend!

I also dreamed super impossible dreams before and some of them makes me think that those dreams are so weird because I dreamed that I can fly and go anywhere I wanna go because I have a super power. I also have crush on a popular Korean actor before and in my dream, he is my older brother. That dream was so weird but I enjoy dreaming of it. When I woke up all I can say to my self is "I thought it was true"

When I was a child I'm not that big dreamer even now that I'm already grown up. I always think in more realistic way. All I ever wanted is to have a normal and simple life with my family but sometimes the simplest dream is more impossible to reach than those big ones.

Yes, I am also dreaming the impossible dream of my life until now.I also agree with you that when we're still young we tend to dream all those big impossible dreams until we reach this age that we're mature enoug realizing that it is better to live a simple life and be happy with it.
