pray with god

Liveonlove, do you pray to god? If you pray for a selfish reason, then perhaps praying is selfish. What if you pray for world peace? Would that be selfish? I doubt so. If you pray to a selfish god, then peraps I can consider praying is selfish. Is there a selfish god in the universe? I thought all gods are good to their worshippers, and would want all their worshippers to be good and continue to have faith with them. No offence implied. Just airing my views. May God bless you :)
