http://www.johnru.com/active-whois/trace-email.html this will tell you about the email. www.abika.com/Reports/verifyemail.htm This should tell you about both of them. Good luck finding the information. I am hopeful that it is not for catching a bad guy, then again, maybe you can stop a bad guy. Good luck with this.

Im not sure about the mail but i know that you can get the ip address of the person your talking to on messenger. What you have to do: Open up command prompt (startrun and type in "cmd"). Send a (preferably large) file to the contact whom you want the ip address of. Type in command prompt "netstat -n" without the quotations. You will get a list of Ip addresses, one of these will be your contacts ip address. As there can sometimes be a fair few ip addresses listed try running netstat first, looking at the ips, then do the file transfer and put netstat again while its transfering, the newly added ip address is the one thats the persons.

It is good that you have posted this discussion. I have peeked into the responses you've got and learned from them, too. I hope that you don't mind my butting in. But there are some topics which I get into out of curiosity rather than me being knowlegeable about them. It is true that I find my time at mylot much more worthwhile when i get into discussions where I can learn from so much more. Thank you very much for your kind understanding.
