its an issue that comes up every day. I turn on the tv and tons of charities are asking for my money to help solve poverty but can the issue of poverty actually be solved because if everyone had a bunch of money i see them jus raising the prices of everything and that poverty can never be solved sadly. What you lot think? cheers Plunt

I'm sure we can stop poverty .... theoretically. What makes it impossible is usually the transparency of the cashflow. When you donate money to any charity, especially the big ones, do they even advise you on the amount that they used? The percentage of the amount that goes to the volunteers? Percentage of the amount that goes to the actual victims, needy? Percentage of the amount that goes directly into programmes on raising awareness for poverty, etc... Who knows if the top management absconds with the money raised from our own pocket?

In my view, we can stop poverty. Now the question is how can we do it...? We can do it by not giving any peny to beggars...and we should resolve their problems instead..I am talking about removing the root causes
