lakers

lakers is one of the worse teams in the league, although they have Kobe who is no more than a ball-hog, they have no chances of winning champions any time soon. i dont really care where they position in the west conference.

The Lakers are going to finish the season in the 6th spot in the Western Conference. They are not going to collapse and with Denver and the Clippers still battling, they should be able to keep a comfortable enough lead to keep their distance from those teams. They won't catch Utah/Houston above them... It'll be interesting... the Lakers are not at the class of the Mavericks, Spurs, Suns, but they could contend with the Rockets and the Jazz. It'll be interesting to see their first-round matchup. It will most likely be the Spurs. The Lakers can beat the Spurs, but it will depend on how they are doing going into the postseason. The Spurs are built for the playoffs, and they could only have this season as a last resort before many of their veterans are faced with important decisions. Meanwhile, the Lakers are such a young team that needs to find it's definite identity. Are they Kobe and Co., are they a triangle team?? It's all comes down to how they choose to play the remainder of the season and the playoffs themselves.
