Have you ever asked why a dog barks instead of meows? Why the grass is green and sky is blue instead of the grass being blue and the sky being green? Why do good people have problems? You can keep going with asking why? I am sure there are an infinite number of why questions. What are some of your why questions?

Grillmama, its amazing where our mind treads.Well, pinklilly and bluewings have very adequately answered the probable scientific reasons. It has certainly added to my knowledge too. Thanks to you and them.:-) If we try to look at it in a childlike simple manner, then I think I too could add a few silly reasons. Grillmama, when we draw a picture and fill it with colors,we choose the colors that we like, because it our creation.Similarly,I feel, when God created this world,he ,for sure, didn't like it colorless. So,he filled it with variety of colors based solely on his choice,he thought would make it look beautiful. To add audio effect,he gave different sounds to different creatures and he might have found the barking sound more suited to dogs than cats. He also added sound effects to non-living things, like the gentle swish of wind, the rustling of leaves, the thundering of clouds, the chyming of bells, etc. He also added special effects....The rainbow, the lightening, the twinkling of stars......... As for why good people have problems,well....I think God wants to test them as he deems only good people worhty of his tests. I hope I make some sense atleast.Lol

Yes I have pften wondered why it is so that many things are the way they are or why things a called a certain thing... It is kinda funny but No one has the exact answers to why... I often wonder about the way we view things as apparently when we view someting in is mirrored upside doen in the back of our retina so does that mean everything we see is really upside down??? If your confused in what I just said this may help... As with any image being formed, it takes two or more rays from the same spot on an object to cross or appear to cross. In this case, looking at two rays from the candle flame, we find that the rays cross right at the location of the retina. This image would be in focus. It is important to notice that the real image of the candle is actually upside down on the retina. Your brain actually takes care of flipping it so it seems to be right side up. Some experiments that have been done involve people wearing some glasses that make everything seem upside down. After a few days, their brain flips the image. If they take the glasses off, their brain, after a delay, will flip it right side up again.

Why do evil people get rich. Why do casinos make huge amounts of money but hospitals struggle to remain open?
