I got my tax refund today

dollar bills - Money from a tax refund, possibly?

$284. And $255 had to go to my credit card. So I'm left with a whole $29 from it all. Have you gotten your tax refund yet? What did you do with it? Did you send it sensibly, or splurge on something for yourself? Did you put it into savings? Or did you not even get a tax refund?

I got mine back in February. Some went to paying off bills. And some went towards spoiling myself with some new shoes and clothes. But a great portion of it went right into the bank. Trying to get saved up to move this summer and that is fast approaching so on a tight squeeze here.

Depending on how much is left after I finish paying off all my bills from my federal refund, which I haven't gotten yet, I might go on a mini shopping spree, since I haven't bought new clothes in over 6 months, except for a shirt here and there. But I need to save money, too, so I guess I'll just have to see how it goes when it gets here.

Very seldomly do I go out and get things for myself, only when I need them the most. Since I know how to repair clothing and shoes. I just keep repairing my old stuff until there is no life left in it. So that way I have more money to take care of my family with, but this time my husband made me swear that I would take some of my money and go out and spoil myself. Which I did, just not as much as he wanted me to lol. My family comes first always. So I would rather spend my last penny on them, than on myself. Just how I am.

It's always nice to spend some money on yourself. It makes you feel special, and worth it.

We got our already (we got alot because we have two kids) but it is long gone!! We used it to pay off my car and a credit card that we have. So we have more money every money.....I probably would have splurged and bought myself and the kids something (that we don't need), but my husband wanted to get rid of some debt..and it was good =) I am looking forward to next year....I am thinking of getting a boob job with the money.....shhhh don't tell anyone!! (and yes my hubby knows)

Yes, getting rid of debt is important. That's what I'm trying to do right now. I'm hoping to be out of debt by the end of the year, but I'm not sure I'm going to be able to make it. And you probably don't need a boob job! Trust me, big boobs aren't worth it. I know. I have them, and would gladly give them away.

I just did it on Saturday, and I only got my state refund back. I still have to get my federal refund, which is almost $800. I should be getting it soon, since I did it online, too.
