What is the most stressful holiday for you, and why?

Most Americans would probably say Christmas (because of money), although there are more Americans who might say Thanksgiving ('cause we have to be nice to relatives we don't always get along with). For me it's Christmas, but only because we have to try & get to three different family branches (each branch having several families that all have weird schedules!!). Are there other religions and cultures who stress over their holidays the way Americans do?

For me the most stressful holidays are my childrens summer vacation. I not only need to plan their vacation home work but also timing of going out to some hilly area apart from my mothers place. I have to plan this keeping in mind that the schedule does not clash with that of my sister in law who comes to stay at our place in these days.

For me it is also Christmas because of the money. I have a lot of kids that I babysit that I feel obligated to shop for, and my parent's always spend a ton of money on me so I feel like I have to spend a ton of money on them. And then I have to buy gifts for my friends; it always ends up being very stressful with the money! But in the end Christmas is all about being with people you love.

For me, Christmas is the most stressful not only because of money but also tiring travelling from one place to another, hectic shopping schedules. Although Christmas is stressful it is the happiest season for the year for me. I can share my material blessings to others, buy gift for little children to make them happy, send christmas presents and card to friends who are far. During the season i feel tired of travelling from my place to friend's place and relatives to have a reunion. But the happiness is countless. I spend a lot of money including the christmas bonus for this, so after christmas i have nothing left only an empty pocket lol!

i probably am not the right person to tell you, bcoz i don't have a family and so no responsibility...personally i don't celebrate any festival with money...the only thing i do during teh festival season is be with my family or friends whichever befits d occasion...and it doesn't cost u a penny...festivals are not stressful in anyway also...unless i find myself alone during the time..lol
