Pain after fillings?

So I'm 18 and didn't get my first cavity until about a year ago. I remember that after I got it, my tooth was "inflamed and bruised" according to my dentist. This lasted for about 2 weeks during which I was in horrible amounts of pain. Over the past 3 weeks, I've had to get 3 more fillings and have been in just as much pain and my dentist doesn't understand why I'm so sensitive to this. Does anyone else have this problem? What did you do to try to stop the pain? I've been taking large amounts of ibuprofen, but I try not to do it when I absolutely don't need to as I know it's horrible for your stomach.

I am in pain from dental treatment right now. I have had one tooth removed and the socket became infected. Now I am being treated with antibiotics for the infection and pain killers to ease the pain in my jaw. The best pain relief I have found for tooth pain is paracetamol as it doesn't upset your stomach.

Wow. I do hope that gets to feeling better, hun. I feel bad complaining about how much I hurt when you're in so much pain.
