Does anyone in the whole wide world Knows how to take care of a puppy??????

If he is always eating do try to limit his food intake to a "normal" level. Is he a "toy" poodle or a standard poodle? As far as his training he will need near constant attention. As his "master" it is up to you to see and recognize certain behaviours. Pay attention to him espically when you get up in the morning, that is the most likely time that he will need to relieve himself, once you know how he acts when needing to go out it will become easier. I say never strike him. a small bop on his snout with a newspaper will teach him what he is doing at that time is wrong. If he is having problems getting housebroken your reprisal(punishment) should be swift but fair, remember as a puppy he is still trying to learn how to control his body functiions. And my last piece of advice is to ask your parents for advice. Dogs are very basic animals, love food and attention will go far. If you are still having problens with training there are many books on it or(if you can afford it) there are training classes you can take with you dog. I hope this helps
