Are shy to upload your real picture?

Why? Tell me if your shy ashamed or what? Or maybe people will critize you bad things? Its an interesting topic.

While I feel bad that some of my friends don't have their real pictures uploaded to make me know what they look like, I have come to realize the possible reasons accounting for the failure or refusal of people generally in this regard. Some of those without their real pictures may have no facility(digital camera, scanner, etc.) to effect a photo upload. Such people just make do with any images that can be downloaded from the net. Others have all the facilities to upload photos, but have refrained from doing so. Some of them feel that they are not photogenic, and are too 'ashamed' to display their true identity. We have some who do not want their true identity known because they want to hide behind a false identity to perpetrate 'bad' postings, while some genuinely fear that their true pictures could be abused one way or the other on the free internet.

yes..some people, especially those who lacks self-confidence would rather hide themselves to the world who they really are in order not to face the discrimination they might get from those people who just look at the physical attributes of a certain individual. Some people feel inferiority because of their faces, they look at themselves as ugly and has no right to post pictures of themselves..

i'm not that shy to upload my real pictures, in fact, i have lots of photos in my friendster account. here, i use the photo of a korean actress as my avatar coz she's my favorite, but i also upload my real photo here, just look at it at "my photos" section.
