Came across this quote somewhere, liked it. 'If a man should importune me to give a reason why I loved him, I find it could no otherwise be expressed, than by making answer :because it was he,because it was I' Michel de Montaigne,essayist(1533-1592)

The quote ends like this, "There is beyond all this I am able to say, I know not what inexplicable and fated power that brought on this union." Now i am able to understand. There are no definitive reasons for love between individuals. To give reasons will be to lose the plot.

It's a French qoute. I don't remember the exact words or the name of the person but on translating, it's something like ' Being a philosopher I've got a problem for every solution':)
