Deep fried ice cream. Well basically the cook takes a big scoop of frozen ice cream, coat it in batter and quikly deep fry it in a pot of very hot oil. I've tried it before and it's delicious. The batter is warm with a little oil and when you dig in, there's this lovely ice cold ice cream to enjoy. Very little of it has melted. Have you tried it before? What do you think of it? Did you like it? Why or why not?

Ice cream will always be delicious. So when it comes to "deep fried ice cream" it all boils down to whether the batter is tastes good or not.

I haven't tried it. I think I'll try to have one in a restaurant. I'm too hesitant to do it myself, it might not turn out good.

I have had it a couple of different ways and liked it every time. One time, mine was ipped in a cornflake and honey batter which was very yummy. Another time, it was more of a maple batter and made into a sundae with maple syrup which was also tasty. It is a nice treat and I can't imagine who came up with it !
