It depends on the nature , If you ment it for work site. . If your work place is highly or there are chances to a fire then there must hav efire extinguisher. not only to have it but also to refil it after a specific period of time. because after some period it gets expired (I mean needs refill).

This is a must have for any safety conscious person. We are about to get a couple for our house just in case something happens. At least we'll be able to prevent a disaster.

I do not have a fire extinguisher in my house. I think it is good ideal to have a fire extingusiher in the house, it is alway the question of if there is a fire, without any fire breakout, the fire extingusher is off not use, but it will be very handy if you have it and you need it. I might consider getting one in the house.

Its necessary. What saves or protects life & property is urgently necessary. We just took the option of not having one at our own risk, despite knowng so. One can never always tell when it is needed. Its one of those things we hope not to use but would'nt be more happier if one is around when needed.

Having a fire extinguisher does a lot of good in private residences. You'll never know what will happen someday. As for the office, in my parts its kind of mandatory, safety regulations and all.
