Things to do in Banff

My brother is moving to Banff, Alberta next month to work at a golf/ski resort. He will be living at the resort but I'm sure they have buses and taxis to take him into town once and awhile. I was wondering if anyone knows of any fun activities, landmarks, places to visit and eat in the town so that he can become more familiar with the town and meet new people. He likes bars and going to wings and concerts. Any ideas?
