I always have only stupid questions to ask about..here is one which i have a question or maybe a doubt which i have been thinking for a very long time. The doubt is nothing but about the Great COMPUTER. At home we use a dust bin which is been cleared out or burnt or something..but we have a bin named recycle bin in our computer.. we all know tat it is the deleted files which are seen in it.. well. we even clear the files from the recycle bin too..Now the Question is where are the files sent off to from the recycle bin.. the hard disk memory wil show that its been deleted.. but where will it go..it is not burnt or buried or anything.. where is it then..i firmly believe that its still in our computer somewhere. but this is a confusion.. anyone knows about this..most of them might be knowing it surely.. I know this is a stupid question to ask but then all doubts has to be cleared no!. can you people clear my doubt???

i think it goes to the hard disk itself .bcz it doesn't go any where.thats why we can restore ut using special softwares.some memory must be used for that.

The deleted files in the recycle bin are still in your hard disk but that files is not loaded and treated as trash files that you can allocate anymore and it does not consume any disk space at all. because Hard drive or Hard disk has capable of having a separated spaces for different files.

Does that mean it is possible to recover those files if need be?

It is better to ask stupid questions than to make stupid mistakes. I don't think it is a stupid question. I wish someone would answer because I want to know too. Very possibly, no one really knows. ...... except maybe Al Gore. (since you are not American you may not get that little joke)

it just looses it's address when u delete it, and it is only actually removed when you write a file over it. This means that if you have sold any hard disk that you had used after merely formatting the disk, then with a few freewares the new owner will be able to get it all back, lol
