Sunrise or Sunset??? You figure it out.

Sunrise or Sunset?? - This photo is from the portfolio of Amanda Potter's Photography. I have permission to share a small selection of her work. I am very proud of my daughter. She has a talent for capturing beautiful photos.

My daughter is studying to be a photographer. Today is her 16th birthday and as a gift to her, I have been uploading some of her portfolio on MyLot. Trust me, I am not uploading all 4,000 photos she has taken. Please take a look at this photo entitled "Sunrise or Sunset??" and then give your opinion of her photo. Since I have not yet earned the right to copy and paste, I have to hand type all the details in the description areas. My fingers are getting tired and cramped. But I think it is worth it. I love sharing her work with others.

It is definitely sunrise!! Sunsets ahve an orange to red color.. it could be a sunrise on a cloudy day which makes it darker than usual! Ü

This picture is of a sunrise. I've always seen so much colour in the morning. I should know, as I come home from work as the sun is rising.

I have pictures of sunrises and sunsets, and there is no way of telling which is which, unless there's some sort of landmark to indicate direction. It's possible that this could be either. You can't judge on color. Just think of the sailor phrase about the sky. Red sky at night, sailor's delight. Red sky at morning, sailor take warning. You can get incredible colors at both dusk and dawn. It depends a lot on the weather, clouds, etc. Regardless, it's a good shot.

first and foremost.. Happy Birthday to your most talented daughter. I think it is a sunrise, it's beautiful regardless of what it is and your daughter is quite talented, you should be very proud !!

Well I can't be sure. There is no telling either. I have a lot on my pc and most of them unless I know where it was taken, I can not tell.

Very beautiful!!!!! I also love photography, and I would have to say its a sunrise. Give her a pat on the back from me, she's got a great artist eye. You have every right to be proud.

sunrise or sunset? i like both. i enjoy waking up early in the morning to get a catch of that beautiful sunrise and wait patiently in the dust time for the sunset :)
