isnt laxman the the player who has been treated the most unfairly by selectors?

i feel tht laxman has always been unfairly treated by the selectors..although he has been around for a while, he has not made it to any world cup squads,nor is he likely to be given a chance in the coming one too...once thought to b the future captain, isnt it unfair to ignore laxman just for the reason that he is not athletic?..remember he is one of the safest cathers around!
