Good fitness is so important to us, but yet so hard to maintain. I like the way I feel when I am eating good and exercising right, but I get tired or feel like splurging on a meal and it gets out of control. What do you do when the urge to stray hits you? I think if we all share our tips and ideas, maybe we will do better. It is worth a shot anyway !

i agree, its really hard to maintain your body. i always had trouble on eating and exercising. i always tried to go for a jog everyday but its hard for me to wake up early in the morning to go for a jog and im always tied up in the afternoon so its hard to find time for exercise. and when im eating an exceptionally delicious food which is everyday since my housemate is really a great cook, i find it hard to stop myself from eating. so i always have trouble maintaining my body. its really hard.

sometimes we lose interest since we get the same routines most of the time. we get bored of doing it over and over again plus add the fact that we might not immediately get the results that we've been expecting, so we immediately give-up. what we need to do is keep motivated all the times and do random exercises so as not to get bored with a specific routine. mind plays a big part in this. once we're psychologically affected, our body would immediately follow as well.

I always had a hard time seeing why people got so worked up over diet/exercise/health, and specifically over trying to lose weight. It's simple. Your body burns calories to function, and even more when the body is active. If you want to lose weight, you need to burn more calories than you're taking in. If you want to increase the amount of calories your body burns when it's idling, you need to build muscle mass. Funny enough, when I'm being hit by a lull in energy, rather than resorting to eating, a quick walk followed up by a good drink of water will usually revitalize me. I try not to stray, but when I know I'm going to, I do my best to be as active as possible before eating, as I know I won't feel like it after the food.
