AND, ROAD, DAY, ANY, DON, RON, YARN, DAN, ROD, RON, RAY, NAY, RAN, RAYON, ROY........guess that I am stuck at 15 as well.

Some of those words like : don, ron, rayon, roy i have never heard of. this reminds me of when i do those jumbles in the toronto star sometimes when i think of a combination of letters that might make up a word but i am not sure, then i dont know what to do because its not like i have a dictionary handy. but i love it when i figure out a word and know that it is right for sure.

"don" means to put something on, as in clothing. Rayon is a type of fabric. Ron and Roy are proper names.

I came up with: AND, ANY, ROAD, DAY, YARN, DRAY, ROD, RAN, RAY, NAY, RAYON, YON, ADORN, NOR, RANDY, RAD, and DARN; so I guess that takes us up to 17 if you don't use any proper names.
