No introduction needed for SUN. But what do you think about Sun. Do you think that Sun is God. How much you care Sun in your daily life. Have you ever imagined a world without Sun? Have you ever thought that you are living in this world is because the Sun is there. Do you think that Sun has any impact in your daily life, in your actions, thoughts, emotions? I have read that there is a man in Gujarat, India, who can live without food for months. His hobby is looking directly to Sun with his naked eyes and he gets energy from the Sun which makes him strong enough to live even without food.

I have a very fair complexion and light eyes. The sun damages my skin and hurts my eyes. I have to wear sun glasses at all times when outside. I work at night, so i sleep in the day. Sometimes I treasure the days when it is cloudy or stormy as it darkens the day and I sleep better. I know the sun is needed to sustain life, crops, live stock, etc. I just have a very bad experience when I am in it directly. One good thing though, the sun damages your skin and when you grow old, the damaged skin may look leathery and cause you to age prematurely. Since I have such an aversion to sunlight, I do look younger than I am, and my skin is quite young looking as well.

Light is sorrow, darkness is comfortable :-) It leads to another point: Light makes our skin dark and darkness makes it bright. Don't you think that black too have beauty? or don't you like that beauty? Thank you dear, for responding.

black has beauty, white has beauty. My skin just doesn't do well in the sun.

Ah sun so beautiful any day without sun is such a drag one can not enjoy a day without sun, a bit of sun is necessary. Our moods are boosted at the sight of a beautiful sunrise. We could live a day or 2 without seeing the sun but nothing can thrive without sunshine that includes humans too our moods depend very much on the brilliant sunshine, we sure would geet depressed if the sun fails to shine many days in a single stretch. Earth needs the Sun! Most of the early man worshipped sun maybe because of the bounty it gave back, better crops, easy hunting (I mean the visibility factor). But sun is real good for the eyes early in the morning I often used to exercise (on the days I got up early) my eyes the first few rays are real good for the eyes. And Yoga best nurtures us if we can do it facing the rising sun can't say the same for many rainy or snowy days together except for the floods, mud puddles and people wishing for the sun to be out soon. But sun sure energises us positively, I think it touches some part in us that even we are not aware of (maybe our soul). Thanks for asking and for the thoughtful thread.

Another fine post to ponder on an answer. + rateing for you again my friend. The sun is a planet. It gives light and warmth. I do not think of it as God. I believe that the sun definately will have an effect on ones life and moods. It gives strength, but so does water. Have a great day.

The water, the earth, the sky all what we have is because of the Sun. Margieanne I am sure you will go for a deep thinking about what is SUN. Thank you for responding.
