What was your best lie or worst lie?

I don't recall my best lie, but I know what my worst lie was because my wife wouldn't let me forget it. It was when we were dating and I bought a pair of beautiful earrings the day of our date and I told her I bought it in Singapore a week ago. The only problem was the lady at the Jewellery store, left the warranty card in the box and wrapped it. From that day on, There was no end to that embrassment. She married me anyways.
