Do you abide in Jesus?

I've been saved almost 22 years. I've always wondered why Christians had the hardest time looking perfect to the world. Jesus said that we would do greater things than He but I don't see that happening in this country...why?? I believe now that In order to walk the walk we need to abide in Him moment by moment. What does that mean to you??

Hi palaris, I'm a Christian too. I see a lot of evil not only in this country but around the world. But I also see God at work as well. Try not to just focus on all the negative things, but the positive things. See all the wonderful things He is doing in your life and in other's lives as well. We tend to sometimes get too caught up in the things of the world and stray away from God. We all do. We need to spend more time alone with the Lord and reading His Word...the Bible. We need to pray more and listen to God more. I love the words to this hymn: Turn your eyes upon Jesus Look full in His wonderful face And the things of earth will grow strangly dim In the light of His glory and and grace! God bless you and welcome to MyLot!
