Can a baby get cradle cap after 6 months..our grandbaby looks like it and i thought cradle cap was for a newborn

Yes, our paeditrician (spelling) said babies can get it up to 2years of age but it usually happens within the first couple of months. Our son had it when he was about 4months old, we used olive oil on it and it eventually went.
