Has anybody found that nobody rates responses anymore? I don't think any of mine have been rated. Just wondering why no one cares to leave feedback these days? Aren't we a happy family here on MyLot? I would think we would want to help each other out.

I don't find this to be true at all. I rate people when I think they have posted things of quality and although I don't see whether or not people rate me, I figure some must because my reputation is high. I think you will have a better idea once you reach 100 posts and are given your star. I wish you the best and by the way...I gave you a +

I read and rate every single one of mine. I rate responses, and I also rate the postings. Like yours. I just gave you the ++ for it. On feedbacks, or responding to a reply, I try too. But when your numbers are into the thousands, it is quite difficult. But I do try. Are you rating everyone? Especially the "best response?" Have a great day my friend.

Thank you! Yes, I rate the responses that come in for my posts, and I also rate other posts. I like to hear everyone's opinions and believe we are all entitled to our own thoughts and feelings. No response is a bad one... unless you get those 2 word ones... that's a pain! I do mark best responses as well, but I try to wait a few days so everyone has a chance to put in their 2 cents.

I have no clue. I know I do ratings. I rate discussions I respond to, people who respond to mine and I also rate those I report to mylot. I'm curious how do you know if yours have been rated or not? It's not like it shows that I've seen. Now I don't say I go through and rate them, I don't think that is pertinent to my post.

How do you know if your responses or discussion have not been rated??? Once a rating has been given the next person responding or the originator of the discussion cannot see what has previously been done by another user!

I agree 100% with you. I rate ALL discussions and responses, and I think everyone should to the same. It's nice to know that somebody liked your response, and had the time to press the mouse button on the + link. As I said in another discussion, rating discussions and responses improves myLot, because it encourages people to write more often and to make good quality posts. And you can also leave a comment instead of giving a rate.

Thanks! I've read so many little posts that have no true meaning, one's that would barely spark a conversation, so it's nice to get a response to a thought provoking post. I just wasn't sure if people overlooked the whole rating thing. Thanks for your feedback!

I always rate discussions and responses of my friends and of others that i have enjoyed ..i think it's only right to show respectful..a person has taken the time to write a discussion or to respond to yours..I don't rate negative either.I simply state in my response if i disagree I will use my mylot warning but if any misconduct has been done lol..so consider yourself rated a+
