I love chinese food but I'm very picky about my restaurants. We have a place called the China Garden Buffet. It's hospitality is the finest and their food is the best in town. My favorite is the chicken and vegetables. The owner always takes time to make his rounds to the tables to see how everyone is doing. And the servers are right on top of things. You don't have to wait around for another drink refill or an extra napkin. They always serve with a smile. I love the buffets the best but sometimes I take out and have leftovers for lunch.

Okay. I happen to like House of Joy. It's on Bandera Rd. just passed Guilbeau Rd. The have great food for a great price. Try the Shrimp Egg Foo Young and/or Mongolian Beef. They have dinner combination platters which include two choice entrees with fried rice and an egg roll and or crab meat rangoon. Very good quality, nice portions, and not too much MSG. I too., also frequent Asia Kitchen, but I go there for EXCLUSIVELY Thai food; therfore, I fore-go ordering Chinese food and opt to try their Thai specialtys. They are my top pick for THAI food. My cousin's friend Vijay and Miranda work there, and they are always happy to suggest the most delicious Thai entrees they have to offer. House of Joy, the Chinese restaurant, does not offer buffets but they do offer great lunch specials. You have to go at least once or place a to-go order by phone. My wife and I agree that no other Chinese restaurant does their dishes better.
