Would you believe something you read off the net?

I've heard a true story that someone told all his friends on the MSN and ICQ that he is about to kill himself, this story is true and it was in fact on the news, my question is not if you believe this story, it is wether or not you would believe a friend who tells you on an IM application that he is about to kill himself (in that case his friends did believe him and they tried to stop him from doing that)?

I've never encountered such cases till now, nor i have any friend who i believe will do such brainless acts, so such messages don't bother me.

If I know my friend well and know about his situations and the pain he is undergoing then i will beleive him for sure..Sometimes, we r faked by someone's smile and we may not beleive his words but a word like kill , ...yes I will believe

If a friend of mine sent me an IM like that I would definately take it seriously and act accordingly...however that is a friend and I know my friends very well not to mention we are all older so to prank something like that wouldnt be the style of any of them....As far as believing other things on the net...thats a totally different story..having a friend telling you something is one thing, reading something about a complete random stranger is somehting totally different and that i tend to take with a grain of salt until I can proof it to be true or false

Well i wanna share this experience of mine, i had a chat mate over yahoo messenger and she really pretty.
But then, she has this unusual behavior and sometimes i don't really understand her.
As she's always telling a lot of things that she don't supposed to say, like she was raped before, then she have menstrual period that day, she's having menstrual period at the moment, her boy cousin kissed her and they had a lil bit romance in the car, she attempted to kill her self, she tried to drink many pills, she had pregnant and she aborted it, it was painful when her friend raped her, and many hilarius things that she actually told me and asking me actually if its bad if she will kill her self.
I really don't know what to do as she always share those things with me everytime we got a chance to chat over the ym.
And now she wants to die coz nobody loves her, i just telling her that her family loves her and also God.
