life's like that!

chessboard - how to strategize day-by-day as we live is like playing chess games... in life every move really matters--- just so in chess. a good move can be made after a thorough understanding of a certain situation in life, just like in chess--- a mate can be had because of planning and thinking ahead.

it was as early as grade 4 when i observed really observed, then later on learned of playing chess from my uncles and his friends. the moment i saw them move pieces, i'm thrilled practically- amused on how a King will be trapped and be checkmated! before i used to play chess just for the sake of it, for fun with friends, and for being called one of the "geniuses" in the campus! to speed up time, now i looked back those childhood days of playing chess--- life is like that chess game... you have to create traps so your problems will be solved; you have to checkmate whatever negative feelings you might have and go on to a new day full of hope and enthusiam for the next day...in chess as in life, you have to strategize things, plan ahead so atleast fewer mistakes might be at hand...so i would be in the idea that life must be lived accordingly with fun and laughter, and importantly, live the values that are expected of us as good persons... what do you think? is there any similarity between life and chess? or can you predict what's gonna happen few hours from as in chess?
