Snow on Easter morning?!

United States
April 8, 2007 7:48am CST
My 4yr old wakes me up this morning at 7:30. As I fumble around in the kitchen making her breakfast, she wakes up to me and asks if she can play in the snow later. Snow? What snow? So I look outside, sure enough...about 2 inches. But, but...we're in PA! Oh well...guess the Easter Eggs are going to be hidden inside. Better make a list of where they are hidden, I don't want to smell them later. Oh and a few of you actually responded to my introduction, in which I stated I was a MySpace blogger. Well, until I get my account here over 500...I can't paste my old blogs over here. So I guess I'll be posting all new ones.

Time to grill some hamburgers and hotdogs. If you don't thumb your nose at the snow now, it'll still be here in August. :p

We grilled hotdogs and chicken the other day, I snub no weather for grilling.

Thankfully no snow for us here in New Orleans. I was worried though. A friend of ours in Beaumont, TX said it was snowing by him yesterday and they are 5 hours to our East. I was hoping it would die out before getting here. Any snow the Winter/Spring before hurricane season is a bad omen around here.

Does it snow in New Orleans? I've only been there once and that was Mardi Gras, back in 96. I don't live anywhere close so I never follow the weather. I hope none of you down there get hit by a 'cane.

I have several feet of snow in my yard at the moment. =p I live in Michigan, and it's been snowing here for days now! It's not supposed to really stop until some time next week, and I can't wait to get real spring weather again! I got so excited because it was warm for a couple of days, and now I'm just itching to have better weather so I can start doing more outside stuff.

Several feet? I haven't seen that much snow since the Blizzard of 93! Good luck to you up there. I lived in South Lyon for a little while and the weather drove me nuts. Getting the warm weather back would be nice, I hate playing hacky sack in doors.

Ah, that would definitely explain the amount of snow. I live below Lake Erie, but I'm below Pittsburgh so the Lake itself has little effect on my weather. LOL. Yeah we tried a few times but our living room wasn't having it. At one point I almost kicked my gaming TV off the table.

*laughs* That doesn't sound healthy, for you or for the TV! =p Yeah, where I live is pretty crazy. Every single winter I tell my husband I want to move, but then the rest of the year is so nice and mild-ish, I have a job I like, we have many friends here, and there's just so much pretty scenery and such. I guess I'm stuck for now! One of these days I would love to be able to go somewhere warmer for at least part of the winter though!
