When you fill a glass upto the halfway mark, do you say that the glass is half-full or half-empty? Apparently this question is used to judge whether a person is optimistic or pessimistic, but i'm not too sure how!

Well, I know that if a glass is half full to a person, you are an optimist. If a person claims the glass is half empty, then they are a pessimist. Me, I'm always just glad something is in the glass! So I'd say I'm in the half full group.
