what do you feed your pet?

considering that your pet is a vital component of your life ,what is your favourite food for your pet?is it something that you yourself eat or is it something that you buy from the store? or is it something which is tailor made for a pet only...

I have a parrot who eats almost anything. The vet told me not to feed him human food, just his vitamin seeds, but I think it's not enough to him. So when we eat, he comes running(in fact flying).
