Experiencing Bantayan Island...

Its my first time to discover Bantayan Island which others says the Boracay version in cebu.Yes indeed it is!sorrounded by white beaches with a very very long shoreline, crystal clear blue waters and with people that wears smiles that greeted us.We enjoys staying at the shore by nigth coz it feels like your in a big city coz those "bancas"(very small boat)with thier lights on to catch fish.We party at "sugar beach"and at bodyong beach which is "ogtong cave"is located.What amazes me more is their tricycle coz its thier means of transportation, it could carry to almost 15 passengers.And we ate lechon there coz they are allowed to have litson since they dont go fishing on Good Friday but they were given permission by the church.

I was given a chance to visit Bantayan also long way back 10 years ago, it was a company excursion an all out expense trip paid by my first employer.The memories are still so vivid on my mind, the fun and excitement I do have. I know at time goes on a lot of changes occur but one thing would never change perhaps of Bantayan, the white beaches ive been able to witness during those times.It still exist at i will still exist as long as it will be taken care my people on the community.I do have a great time there, my 3 days and 2 nights stay would consider be a memorable one also. I was thankful for that excursion because i was able to witness the beauty of Bantayan island. If there maybe time and extra money i'd like to go back there again and again.

Yes this island sounds wonderful my husband comes from an island in the South Pacfic so I can imagine how nice this other island is. But Bantayan Island sounds more nice as it has the beauiful shorelines that are big we have some here in Australia with long shorelines as well. Yes I have seen these kind of transport on the television where people carry up to a lot of passengers but I did not realize that it could carry up to 15. Oh that is good that the people where allowed to eat litson but I ate fish on Good Friday.

This sounds like a very pretty Island. Thanks for describing it. I have only been and lived in the United States all of my life.
