younger or older parents?

do you believe you should have children in your 20's or wait until you're more established? why?

I think it's smarter to wait until you are established and have emotional maturity, a solid marriage and more stable finances. It's not about what you want. It's about what's best for your baby.

I had my daughter when I was 20... and I wouldnt have it any other way.

I have noticed that a lot of the movie stars wait tell they are in there late 30's and 40's before having children. I think it is to make sure they can take care of the child and that they are established. To me what ever age if you are married is right if you are ready. God Bless

I had our first son when i was 17 and now im 27 & have 5 children.

I would not recommend having them too late like in the late 30s or older because by then you have it in your mind that your too old to do this or that.I notice that the younger parents are more active w/ their children. They will run w/ them in the park and play like a kid w/ them. and kids love that.

I am 23 and expecting my first baby. Ideally, I would have liked to have waited another couple of years so that I could get myself a little further on in my career, but now that junior is on the way, I think the timing is just about right. I dont think there is any particular age that is best to start a family - it depends on how you feel, and what your situation is.
